- Very Good machinability.
- Magnetizable steel.
- Very good for operating in wet and corrosive environments.
- Very good dimensional stability during heat treatment.
- Not designed for highly polished and etched surfaces
Applications
This steel is commonly used for mould steel applications including holders or support plates subjected to wet working and/or storage conditions. The grade is also used for the manufacturing of corrosive materials like PVC.

Heat Treatment
Recomended to use as prehardened.

Delivery Condition
Prehardened, 280-325 HB (29-33 HRC).
